DJ Creates Bespoke Music Libraries for Yachts

More commonly found spinning decks in international nightclubs and on-board luxury yachts, this evening DJ Natalie Earp will be at the helm for Superyachts.com’s annual Top 100 event at one of London’s top hotels.

The DJ, who has worked for the Ministry of Sound and also had her own BBC radio show, set up Sound Purpose after noticing a demand for customised music experiences during her time spent on yachts in the South of France.

Based on a client’s lifestyle and musical tastes, she selects songs, albums and dedicated playlists, all designed to create the ultimate ambience whatever the occasion, mood or on-board activity. Earp is currently working on projects with clients spanning a range of different ages and tastes.

“Monaco has been my second home all my life so lucky enough to be a guest on several yachts and found they often required my skill set to select the right music for the moment,” she told Superyachts.com.

“Every song I put into their library is seriously considered. Albums are also put into the library to match their tastes or help them discover new artists if requested.”

Clients also have access to several other services including building up specific playlists/compilations for one-off events or special occasions, and on-board DJs for anything from large-scale, upbeat parties to smaller dinner parties.

Earp’s musical talent has seen her travel the globe to play at some of the best and most exclusive parties and nightclubs in the world, from Hong Kong to Hawaii, Bermuda to Bahrain, Moscow to Munich and in London at the legendary Fabric, in Ibiza at the world famous Space Terrace and Glastonbury Festival.

Last month she played at the prestigious Superyachts.com Top 100 party at The May Fair Hotel in London, which was attended by many of the largest names in the superyacht industry.
