Dom Perignon’s Twin Set is a champagne show-down

The second release in Dom Pérignon’s unique series, the Oenothèque 1995 is now available alongside the 1995 Vintage in a champagne-connoisseurs dream team.

The aged champagne is then bottled several years later for champagne-lovers to enjoy its more mature nuances.

This exclusive Don Pérignon twin set combines the seven-year-old original vintage with the aged 13-year old sister champagne to create an enviable double act.

The twin set comes in a black wooden box and at US$550 will be available in strictly limited quantities.

Taste reports conclude that the 1995 Oenothèque carries a much more refined flavour than the original vintage; boasting a smoky, peaty depth, with a creamy fullness that is years away from the original bottling.

The Vintage is flavoured with notes of golden honey, marzipan and wet straw, while the Oenothèque 1995 displays hints of mineral, oyster shell, and toast.
