Held to coincide with Yacht Miami Beach, the lavish event was attended by high fliers and socialites from the worlds of yachting, fashion and entertainment, all overseen by the hosts for the evening, Dsquared2 owners and creative directors Dean and Dan Caten.
The brothers, who founded the brand in 2005 after working as designers for Italian fashion house Versace in Milan, dressed a glamorous assortment of hostesses for the event including Supeyachts.com luxury director Shari Liu, along with Elaine Spottswood, Lisa Cortes, Amanda Church and Christina Getty-Maercks.
As guests arrived for a champagne reception they were greeted by the eye-catching presentation of the Queens’ Wreath Jewels by fine jewellery company Beaudry International.
There followed an intimate dinner in the luxurious restaurant area of the pristine new yacht club, which acts as a stunning backdrop to the Miami skyline.
Refreshments were served by champagne brand Armand de Brignac, rosè wine producers Chateau d’Esclans and Titomirov Vodka.
Owned and developed by the Chetrit Group and Dupoux Partners, River Yacht Club features an indoor-outdoor restaurant, with a garden that accommodates up to 250 people, along with 100-seat indoor dining. Nearby, the Island Garden Marina can accommodate yachts up to 150 feet.
