Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah’s Club Vista Mare Gets a Floating Swimming Pool

By Paul Joseph

It’s been a while since the last outlandish architectural offering in Dubai, but it’s been worth the wait, with news that one of the emirate's most lavish beach clubs is to become home to a swimming pool floating in the sea nearby.

Rumoured to be the first of its kind in the region, the Breeze Beach Bar & Gril at the Club Vista Mare is all set to host the brand-new floating swimming pool, which is set to open at the end of September.

Nestled at the far end of the strip of restaurants and bars at Club Vista Mare, Breeze has a distinctive chilled-out vibe, with the pool the focal point.

Walking by it, visitors will discover an astro-turf decking, surrounding a 20-metre long, 10-metre wide pool which extends 1.2 metres in depth. Surrounding sunbeds and the deck accommodates up to 75 guests.

It will be adults-only through the day, and towels will be provided. Entry price to the pool is redeemable on food and drink at Breeze.

If anyone's birthday is approaching, by night the pool and decking will be available as a private-hire function space.

Part of the vibrant Palm Jumeirah community, Club Vista Mare is a premium waterfront residential community, beach club and dining destination. It serves up seven upscale lifestyle and dining destinations with a range of Peruvian, Ethiopian, Emirati, Italian cuisines and more.
