Dunhill Release $4,000 Games Compendium

Luxury goods firm Alfred Dunhill has created a unique casket containing two of the world’s most cherished board games.

The elegantly-designed compendium contains a folding two-sided playing board for playing chess and backgammon. Also included are chess pieces that double as backgammon counters, and a steel dice cup

Made of carbon fibre, and hand-crafted by Dunhill’s team of expert artisans, the sleek black box is light enough to be easily transported, making it ideal for on-the-move entertainment.

As well as the chess and backgammon compendium, Dunhill have also unveiled a set of poker playing cards in a matching carbon fibre box, priced at $350.

Founded in London in 1893, Dunhill are renowned for producing men's luxury goods, most notably providing accessories for “James Bond” movies, including a gunmetal cigarette lighter in the film “Dr. No”.
