Edmiston Cup Fuses Golf and the Superyacht Lifestyle

By Christina Tsangaris

A unique golf experience has been unveiled, combining two of life’s greatest pleasures: golf and yachting.

The Edmiston Cup introduces its private golf experience launching over seven days across three top class courses in a choice of three prestigious locations: the dazzling Mediterranean, the tropical Caribbean and the pristine waters of Thailand.

The entire event will be organised by Edmiston, world leaders in the superyacht industry and luxury travel company VIP Escapes, who will play host to the teams and cruises between each location.

Whether you are looking to spend a summer in the Mediterranean overlooking the Cote d’Azur, or a winter basking in the Caribbean sun, each destination offers endless beauty as well as a selection of some of the most elite golf courses around the world.

Courses include Royal Mougins and Terre Blanche in France, Pevero on Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, Blue Canyon and Mission Hills in Phuket and a choice of five top courses across different islands in the Caribbean.

Each team will welcome four players to take part, whether friends, family members or business colleagues. The fourth player will be a ranked Tour Professional, including Ryder Cup stars and other names from the main Tours and Majors as you enjoy an elite golfing holiday with a difference.

Itineraries have been created for six to seven days with the exclusive option to be tailored to your team.

Guests will be able to enjoy a private chef on board, closing each day with an evening of refined dining. A wealth of activities will also be available, from sailing, snorkelling and scuba diving, to sunbathing and lounging in a Jacuzzi.

With an opportunity to venture ashore and see the sights, each destination perfectly combines luxury yachting with an unforgettable first class golfing experience.

Pricing for the unique experience is likely to start at around £120,000, depending on the yacht, golf course and calibre of golfing star you wish to join your team.
