Effectus Lux Lucis by Victoria Grant; a bright headwear idea
Bespoke hat designer and creator of headwear couture Victoria Grant has fashioned a limited edition hat or artistic lamp, depending on how you look at it.
The Effectus Lux Lucis combines Grant’s imaginative sense of Heritage vs. Humour to produce a fully-functional art piece inspired by the British Royal Artillery and Medieval Execution Mask.
The creation can be worn as headwear or remarkably, used as a lamp with a maximum wattage of 15.
Pierced Fur felt forms the basis of the hand-crafted piece, accompanied by an Aluminium Chain and flamboyant Bird of Paradise puff.
Only six of the unique designs have been created at a price of £1,669 each. The hat measures approximately 73cm H x 20cm W.
Victoria Grant has been impressing with her ostentatious designs for years, earning herself a truly distinctive name in the world of high-end fashion. Amongst her admirers include Dolce & Gabanna, Penelope Cruz, Annie Lennox, and Jay Joplin.
