In a unique combination of art and gaming, long-time backgammon enthusiast turned designer Emmanuel David has decided to live his passion and turn his love for the game into a delicate art form.

With prices starting at €19,000 the Gold Rush table is adorned with gold leaves on the interior of the table, perfectly visible though its transparent surface. The table can currently be seen laid out in the opulent Hotel Fouquet’s Paris.

The feather design of Wings of Desire can also be seen at the hotel or purchased from €21,000. Morning dew (from €31,000) is dotted with natural rose petals and features a diamond-widened board 2.5cm deep.

The Exclusive Beach “St Tropez” is inlaid with white and black feathers and starts from €25,000.

David plans to release six collections a year, each with a limited edition of four tables, each personally signed.

"The board itself is made to competition standards and is completely handmade using authentic leather."
