Enigma Launches Limited-Edition Amazon Watches

By P. Joseph

Swiss watch-makers Enigma have marked the launch of a new Peruvian expedition yacht by creating ten limited-edition timepieces inspired by the Amazon river.

The C42 Amazon watches will be available exclusively to guests on-board the brand new M/V Aria, a 16-suite motor yacht introduced by Aqua Expeditions, a luxury Peruvian tour company.

Billed as the perfect Amazon memento for the discerning adventure traveller, each watch features a sleek, matt-black finish for a designer sports look, and Luminova treated hands allowing optimal reading during low-light wildlife treks.

Furthermore, the watches also come with a steel case with sapphire, anti-glare glass and a see-through case back.

Aqua Expeditions offers guests luxurious accommodation in one of the most remote destinations in the world. The M/V Aria launched in May 2011 with 16 suites, all with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, an on-deck Jacuzzi and lounge as well as fine Peruvian dining.

Watch brand Enigma was established in 1989 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, by Gianni Bulgari. The C42 Amazon watches are priced at £3,163.
