Fabergé Sponsors 2013 Coutts Polo at the Palace in Abu Dhabi
Iconic jewellery house Fabergé were the sponsors of the 2013 Coutts Polo at the Palace, a prestigious two-day social and sporting event in Abu Dhabi, earlier this month.
Taking place in the opulent grounds of Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace, the exclusive event welcomed international polo teams from Abu Dhabi, Milan, Buenos Aires and London as well as an array of VIP guests.
Defending champions Team Buenos Aires retained their crown following two days of high-octane, competitive polo.
In celebration of UAE National Day, Fabergé – who were also official sponsors of Team London – created an exclusive egg pendant that was showcased for the first time at the event. Set with rubies, emeralds, diamonds and black spinels in the colours of the United Arab Emirates flag, the pendant is limited to only seven pieces to represent the seven Emirates.
Fabergé also set up a boutique in the VIP area where clients were able to discover and purchase the latest jewellery collections, including a series of one-of-a-kind cocktail rings featuring exotic gemstones including emeralds, sapphires and a rare Golconda diamond.
The Abu Dhabi event was also sponsored by Coutts, Maserati and La Martina.
