Faster and Smarter: The 2020 Lamborghini Huracán EVO

By Paul Joseph

Four years after the launch of the Lamborghini Huracán, the famous Italian supercar maker has unveiled the augmented Huracán EVO.

Featuring several updates both inside and out, the EVO boasts a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 630 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque and propels the car from zero to 62mph in just 2.9 seconds – 0.3 seconds quicker than its predecessor.

Other mechanical changes include rear-wheel steering and a four-wheel torque vectoring system, while the active suspension has also been updated with instantly adaptable dampers.

In terms of aesthetic improvements, the EVO gets a new aggressive looking bumper with a front splitter and an integrated rear wing along with a dual exhaust. It also comes with new 20-inch alloy wheels in the Aesir design and the reshaped air intakes.

Furthermore, the centre console now features a big 8.4-inch touchscreen display that supports multi-finger gestures. It not only has Apple CarPlay integration but also can be used to adjust most aspects of the car, including the seat settings and climate control options.

The Lamborghini Huracán EVO has a starting price of $261,274 in the United States and deliveries will begin this spring.
