Ferrari & Armani Team Up on Clothes lines

By Paul Joseph

Ferrari and Armani, two of Italy's most prestigious brands, are bringing their world renowned talents together to work on a new series of handbag and clothing lines, each bearing some of the companies' iconic hallmarks.

The luxury sports car maker and the famous fashion house have entered the partnership in an attempt to enhance both companies' brand equity and vibrancy.

The clothes will be produced by Armani in Italy with a multi-year commitment agreed by both companies, it has been confirmed.

Ferrari CEO Louis Camilleri recently told analysts it is a company goal to make 10 percent of its earnings come from three new lifestyle pillars: apparel, luxury services and entertainment, all within the next seven to 10 years.

It is not the first time Armani has stamped its mark on the world of sport: in the past several atheletes as well as the Italian national soccer team have been worn sports gear made by Armani.

Furthermore, back in 2016, Armani and French supercar brand Bugatti teamed up to create a capsule collection of small leather goods and clothing.

Founded by Giorgio Armani in 1975, Armani Group has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned fashion houses.
