Ferrari Showcases ‘Tailor Made’ California T at Goodwood

Among the array of eye-catching cars at this year’s Goodwood Festival in the United Kingdom was a special ‘Tailor Made’ Ferrari California T.

The car was on display inside Ferrari’s VIP hospitality enclosure at Goodwood alongside a collection of materialise reserved exclusively for Ferrari clients using the brand’s ‘Tailor Made’ customisation programme.

Designed by its owner in tribute to Ferrari’s famous prancing horse symbol, the highly-customised California T boasts a Bianco Italia three-layer exterior paint job with a double-asymmetric stripe in Blu Hellen, along with 20-inch forged wheels painted in Blu Hellen and Argento Nurburgring.

First presented in Geneva in 2014, the California T is Ferrari’s first turbocharged supercar since the F40. Powered by a 552-hp, 3.9-litre V-8 engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch auto, the car T can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) from standstill in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 196mph (316 km/h).

Other notable features include the latest traction control system, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a retractable roof that takes just 14 seconds to open.

Ferrari has created an online configurator for its new California T that allows prospective buyers to customize their car down to the last detail.
