Four Seasons to Open Luxury Resort in Napa Valley

By Paul Joseph

Luxury hospitality group Four Seasons has announced plans to build a lavish new resort in California’s Napa Valley featuring its own fully operational winery and vineyard.

A limited collection of wines will be produced on-site under the direction of acclaimed winemaker Thomas Brown.

Located in Calistoga, among the valleys, mountains and vineyards of northern Napa Valley, the resort is a joint venture between Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Alcion Ventures, and Bald Mountain Development.

It will feature 85 guest rooms and 20 private residence villas, the latter including multiple master suites, an owner’s wine cellar, as well as luxuriously appointed indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment spaces.

Owners will enjoy access to all that the resort has to offer, including three food and beverage offerings, multiple swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, as well as a world-class spa featuring the natural geothermal waters unique to the Calistoga region.

Other notable amenities at the resort will include an event barn and 12 indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces.

Four Seasons Hotels was founded by Canadian businessman Isadore Sharp in 1960.
