Franck Muller Creates ‘Yachting Collection’ Timepiece

By Paul Joseph

Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller has created a nautical-themed timepiece as part of its collaboration with yacht builder the Italian Sea Group.

Called the Franck Muller Yachting collection, the sports watch has been designed to replicate the new Franck Muller yacht that he is creating in partnership with the Italian-based shipyard.

The watch, which is available in titanium, red gold and stainless steel, features several nods to the new yacht, including a deep blue case and slender and refined curves.

Other notable features include an automatic movement, a cordura and rubber strap with a choice of white or blue stitches.

The Franck Muller Yachting Collection debuted last week at the Marina di Carrara in Italy where a dedicated shipyard as well as a watch gallery devoted to the latest Franck Muller creations are already located.

On the day of the watch’s release, Franck Muller also announced his plans for a new yacht, which will be presented in September during the Monaco Boat Show.

The Franck Muller Group was founded in 1991.
