Boasting a rotation every five seconds, 12 times faster that the average 60-second tourbillons on the market, the Thunderbolt features state-of-the-art technology that is the result of three years of research and development.

The watch was launched at the Salon World Première of Haute Horlogerie & Jewellery (WPHH) at the Grimaldi Forum exhibition centre in Monaco, hosted by the Franck Muller Group for the fourth year in a row.

Attended by more than 1,200 guests, Tte three-day event was used to showcase the ten brands composing the Group: Franck Muller, Franck Muller Jewelleryl, Pierre Kunz, ECW, Rodolphe, Barthelay, Backes & Strauss, Martin Braun, Pierre Michel Golay and Smalto Timepieces.

Famous Italian couturier, Roberto Cavalli, with whom Franck Muller has recently entered into a partnership, also attended the event.

The Franck Muller Group was founded in 1991.
