French Luxury Resorts Offer Futuristic Yacht Transfer for VIP Guests

By Paul Joseph

Guests staying at the Royal Palace and Ermitage hotels in France are to have an extra layer of excitement added to their stay thanks to a state-of-the-art 12-metre catamaran.

Part of the Evian chain of luxury resorts across France and Switzerland, both hotels will invite guests to enjoy transfers to the property aboard the high-tech vessel, which is billed as the only one of its kind in the world.

The unique design and geometry of the boat enables it to be suspended in the air and reduce its contact with the water by half, significantly reducing fuel costs and its environmental footprint.

Guests arriving via Geneva or Lausanne in Switzerland will have access to the catamaran. They are also encouraged to use the boat throughout their stay, to explore the shores of Lake Geneva and enjoy the activities and experiences that the area offers.

The Evian Resort brand has signed a partnership agreement with Pro Yachting, the owner and operator of the vessel, to have access to the boat over the coming months.

The hotels are located in Évian-les-Bains, a commune in the northern part of the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.
