Get on your bike with Fendi
No longer content to simply create exquisite bags, shoes, scarves and watches, Fendi has extended its accessories scope to include a retro style bicycle.
For US$5,900 one version comes complete with Fendi Salleria leather accessories, including a detachable Fendi case, key and bike chain cover, and just in case you get lost while cycling the streets, a leather GPS navigation holder.
For US$9,5000 you can also have the bike decked out with removable fur saddle bags on the rear tyre.
Designers and socialites gathered at the Fendi?s Fifth Avenue store on May 20 for the launch of the bicycle. Guests at the Fendi and Vogue hosted party included Zac Posen, Kat De Luna, Fabiola Beracasa, and Arden Wohl.
It is reported two of each style of bicycle were sold on the first night.
