Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady Collection Gets New Addition

By Paul Joseph

Swiss luxury watchmakers Girard-Perregaux have created a new addition to its highly popular 1966 Lady Collection of timepieces.

Featuring a cognac-coloured dial with a guilloché decoration, the new Lady 1966 boasts 80 diamonds on the bezel and a 30mm diameter case crafted from pink gold.

Other notable features include a self-winding mechanical movement with a 42-hour power reserve and a chocolate-coloured alligator strap with pink gold buckle.

The watch’s hours are also marked with diamonds, except for 12 and 6 o’clock, which appear as Roman numerals.

Founded in Switzerland in 1791, Girard-Perregaux has grown to become one of the world’s most famous watch brands.
