Girard-Perregaux Launch Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges

By P. Joseph

Swiss high-end watch-makers Girard-Perregaux have launched a new addition to their extensive Vintage 1945 range of timepieces

Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide, the 1945 vintage tourbillon is a women’s timepiece featuring a case and a bridge fashioned in pink gold and three gold bridges across the dial.

Originally introduced back in 1884, the three bridges on the latest timepiece are designed like double sided arrows and offer a soft Art-Déco touch to the watch.

The watch’s self-winding caliber boasts an integrated micro-rotor housed under the barrel, whilst the sapphire back reveals the mechanism in all its intricate glory.

Other notable features of the watch include diamond polished gold regatta hands, a pink gold folding clasp alligator strap, a power reserve of at least 48 hours, and water resistance up to 30 metres

The Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges is available priced at £132,250.
