Graff’s Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond Watches Debut at BaselWorld

By Paul Joseph

London-based jeweller Graff Diamonds has debuted its three new Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond timepieces at the 2019 BaselWorld fair, which kicked off in Switzerland last week.

Made using the hardest-to-find yellow diamond colour – fancy vivid yellow – each watch is built in 18-karat yellow gold to underscore the brilliance of the watch's diamonds.

The diamonds are also in round and fancy ovals that are meticulously set by hand, as well as finished and polished by hand.

The GW9701 Round Graff Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond watch is set with 211 diamonds weighing 59.25 carats, while the GW9639 Graff Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond Watch with an Oval dial consists of 60 diamonds weighing 25.85 carats. There is also a third yellow diamond watch that has been kept under wraps until Baselworld.

Both watches house Swiss-made quartz movements and each watch features an invisible setting further showcasing the shimmer of yellow.

Additionally, the bracelets – also set with diamonds – are created using a Graff in-house developed jointing system so that they are supple and ergonomically flexible.

Pricing for the new Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond watches is available on request.

Graff Diamonds was founded in London in 1960.
