Gresso Unveils Limited Edition Titanium Phone
Anyone who has experienced the misfortunate of dropping their mobile phone on a hard surface may be excited to hear about a new model on the market made from titanium, one of the world’s strongest materials.
Created by luxury mobile phone manufacturer Gresso, the limited edition Radical Black smartphone has a case crafted from a single titanium plate – a process that takes around eight hours. The case is then polished for an additional four hours.
Finished entirely in black (hence the name), including its dark titanium buttons, the luxury phone is a double-SIM device and comes with a 4.5-inch screen (960X540 pixels), a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, an 8 MP photo/video camera, 36GB of storage and a Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2.operating system.
Customised options are available, including with the addition of a Gresso logo in yellow gold or white gold.
The smartphone is priced at $2,500 for the basic version (R1) and $3,000 for the yellow gold (R2) or white gold (R3) editions. All of the Radical Black models are limited to just 100 numbered units each.
Gresso was founded in Switzerland in 2005.
