Grooming Salon Offers Quality ‘Man Time’

Located in the basement of celebrity hair stylist Nicky Clarke’s flagship salon, the Men’s Grooming Vault offers luxury treatments ranging from personalised haircuts to facials, hot and cold towel shaves, manicure/pedicures and colour techniques specifically formulated for men’s hair.

The operation is run by stylist and grooming expert Kelly Simpkin, who has created a distinctive space decorated with male-friendly furnishings – all pointing towards a strong creative flair and impressive eye for detail.

Dotted around the cave-like room are thoughtfully-considered artefacts ranging from vintage razors and shaving vessels of bygone eras, to stylish objets d’art such as lampshades and ornaments.

For customers, it all contributes to an atmosphere of serene luxury that enables them to relax and unwind during their session in the salon. Visitors are also given a choice of music, movies and sports TV channels to watch, whilst Wi-Fi and a food and drinks menu are also available.

Ms Simpkin, who has established a strong reputation in the grooming industry, believes her background in banking has given her an acute insight into how men like to be treated. She has worked with several high profile clients including Kevin Spacey and Jonathan Ross, as well as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York.

Treatment prices range between £40 for a hot towel facial through to £200 for the Ultimate Men’s Grooming Gift Experience, which includes a personalised hair cut, a Super Luxe Shave, a manicure, and a signature cocktail or glass of Champagne.
