Gucci Creates Chinese Year of the Horse-Inspired Bag Collection

World-renowned Italian fashion house Gucci has launched a new Capsule Collection inspired by the Chinese Year of the Horse.

The Chines Exclusive collection features a dazzling array of Gucci’s popular Bright Bit bags, comprising handbags, shoulder bags and clutches, all in brilliant red patent leather – red being a colour typically associated with China.

Each piece comes emblazoned with Gucci’s iconic “horse” motif which is found on its shoes and bags and is indelibly linked with the brand’s identity.

On its official website, Gucci says that the special edition collection represents “auspicious, successful, and lucky horse culture mixed with Chinese red, and further embody the exquisite and detailed design of the gold horse mouthpiece.”

Guci was founded by Guccio Gucci in Florence, Italy in 1921.
