Hammacher Schlemmer Introduces iPad Pen

By Paul Joseph

US Retail giants Hammacher Schlemmer have launched the iPad Pen, a wireless stylus billed as allowing users to take notes on an iPad with the same ease as writing freehand with pen and paper.

Comparable in size and feel to a standard pen, the iPad Pen transforms your tablet into a physical notepad when used with free downloadable apps such as IdealNotes or FlyNotes.

“The iPad Pen is ideal for taking notes during meetings, jotting a quick memo, or sketching a playful doodle,” explained Hammacher Schlemmer's General Manager Fred Berns.

“Your work is saved as JPEG images on your iPad, so you can edit them and share them on social media sites.”

The pen’s receiver plugs into the 30-pin charging port of an iPad, iPad2, or iPod running iOS 3.2 and higher.

The iPad Pen is available from Hammacher Schlemmer for $169.95.
