Harrods Hosting Pop-Up Fabergé Boutique

By Paul Joseph

Prestigious London department store Harrods and jewellery house Fabergé have teamed up to create an interactive pop-up boutique that celebrates the jeweller’s iconic egg shape

Running until 28th March, the ‘Fabergé at Harrods’ boutique is currently occupying four Harrods windows in Knightsbridge, west London with an artistic 3D moving projection showcasing the brand’s much-loved designs.

The Fabergé Egg Bar offers the brand’s signature egg pendant and charm designs, while a selection of new rings from the Devotion collection, set with coloured gemstones, is also exclusively available at Harrods.

A Consultation Bar allows prospective clients to discuss private commissions and personalised orders.

Harrods Rewards card holders are also being invited to take part in a Fabergé Egg Hunt inside the store. Anyone who finds the giant eggs can then register them into a specific smartphone application and enter into a prize draw to win one of three precious Fabergé jewelled pendants worth £16,000.

Founded in in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1842, Faberge rose to prominence before the First World War when it created jewelled eggs for members of Russia’s aristocracy. Post-war, after the Russian monarchy was toppled, it maintained its reputation and grew into a major global luxury brand. In 2009 Faberge began to produce new contemporary collections.
