The cask is a blend of 1,200 extremely rare Cognacs that date from 40 to 100 years, each purchase delivered in a black-crystal Baccarat decanter made, blown and decorated by hand embellished in a luxurious metal coffret.
It is stated that the finest collection of Cognac has brought a taste and “boasts a presence and density in the mouth that knows no limit”. The taste has been likened to a lengthy woodland bouquet of mushrooms, spicy tones and essences gingerbread, wax, nuts and mint which offers “craftsmanship reflecting the pedigree of this incredibly rare and distinctive cognac”. The Remy Martin Rare Cask is an aged spirit that will truly compliment any party or even time alone with a good cigar.
The Louis XIII Rare Cask will be available at the Harrods wine store until the end of February.
