By Paul Joseph

World-renowned watch and jewellery house Harry Winston is to open a new retail salon at Harrods in London as part of a global retail expansion strategy.

Dedicated high jewellery, bridal and watch areas will showcase Harry Winston’s exquisite statement jewellery, iconic diamond collections, engagement rings and rare timepieces.

Amongst the jewels on display for the salon’s opening – taking place on 10th August – will include items from Harry Winston’s Ultimate Adornments collection, which is also the focus of a new video featuring the Danish model and Harry Winston brand ambassador Freja Beha.

Hand crafted entirely in diamonds and platinum, the 40-piece Ultimate Adornments collection includes a series of caftan necklaces made using four different techniques in diamond setting, a bracelet designed in tribute to the wife of Harry Winston featuring more than 175 diamonds, and the Queen necklace which boasts nearly 100-carats of brilliant diamonds.

Speaking about the forthcoming Harrods opening, Frédéric de Narp, President & CEO at Harry Winston, said: “Harry Winston salons are located in the finest shopping destinations across the globe. As one of the great international cities, London is a key and critical part of our retail growth.

“With the opening of our newest location at Harrods, the luxury window to the world, we are thrilled to not only showcase our creations in such an exceptional setting but to be able to continue to provide our clients with the finest selection of our products, and the high quality of service that Harry Winston is known for.”

Harry Winston was founded in New York in 1932.
