Hayman Launches ‘Gin Palace’ at London Hotel

By Paul Joseph

Hayman Distillers, family gin makers since 1863, have teamed up with luxury London hotel The Langham to create a temporary ‘Gin Palace’.

Housed in the opulent surrounding of the hotel’s Palm Court, the Gin Palace offers a menu of innovative gin infused cocktails created by Alex Kratena, the award -winning head mixologist at The Langham.

Guest can enjoy cocktails such as Yuzu & Cederwood, a cocktail mixed with sherry, bitters and Hayman’s 1850 Reserve Gin, and Rhubarb and Rose, a rhubarb, rose, grapefruit and Hayman’s Old Tom Gin blend.

There is also a selection of tasting dishes to accompany the cocktails and both can be enjoyed whilst listening to live jazz

The Langham opened in 1865, just two years after the Hayman’s story began, giving both brands a shared history that makes it a natural partnership.

Hayman's is run by 5th generation James and Miranda Hayman with their father Christopher Hayman as Chairman, who boasts over 40 years of gin expertise and knowledge

The Gin Palace at The Langham is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until the end of November.
