For cruising the bustling summer streets or bright parks of the city there is no more ideal option than a bicycle.

Also featured is a stylish carrier with bungy cord, mud flap, spoke protector, front and back lighting, and a kickstand.

The first Hermès bicycle dominated the windows of the brand’s Faubourg Saint Honoré store in 1980. Now in 2009, the bicycle from Dutch brand Batavus swathed in Hermès style comes in a fresh havana or pumpkin shade while keeping its original black finish.

There are no complementing accessories for the bicycle although desiring customers can have them created by the special orders workshop. The ultimate in city-chic design, the 2009 edition will cost US$4,000.
