Iconic French fashion house Hermès has opened a new boutique in Beijing, China dedicated to the brand’s watch collections.

Located in in Fu Xin Meng Parkson, the opening of the La Montre Hermès store is part of the brand’s global expansion plans. It now has 17 strategically located stores within key markets in Asia, USA and Europe.

Spread over 83 square metres, the new Beijing boutique is given over entirely to Hermès watches, which it has produced since the 1930s.

During that decade, Hermès employed Swiss watchmaker Universal Genève as the brand's first and exclusive designer of timepieces, producing a line of men's wrist chronographs (manufactured in 18K gold or stainless steel) and women's art deco cuff watches.

Hermè was founded by Frenchman hierry Hermès in 1837 and has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned creators of leather, lifestyle accessories, perfumery, luxury goods, and ready-to-wear clothes.
