Hotel Eden Roc Gets Its Own Yacht Marina on Lake Maggiore
Nestled on the shores of Lake Maggiore in southern Switzerland, the 5-star Hotel Eden Roc gained a significant new feature last May with the opening of its own yacht marina.
As well as moorings for private boats and yachts, the marina offers a variety of activities during the summer months from chartered sailing and motor boat excursions, to kayaking, wakeboarding and water-skiing.
Switzerland is a haven for yachting enthusiasts, thanks to its myriad of expansive lakes as well as its large proportion of affluent residents.
Along with its new marina, Hotel Eden Roc also offers a brand new spa which opened last year, a private bathing beach, two swimming pools, four restaurants, stunning views of Lake Maggiore and beautifully designed rooms and suites.
Rates at Hotel Eden Roc begin at around £345 per night for a standard double room, all the way up to £1,380 per night for a Grand Suite.
