Hublot and Ferrari Create Timepiece for China Market

Swiss luxury watch brand and Italian sports car maker Ferrari have teamed up to create a limited edition timepiece exclusively for the Chinese market.

Limited to just 50 pieces, the Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold watch is encased in a 45.5 mm diameter case with a carbon fibre bezel and features interchangeable straps inspired by the safety seatbelt mechanism.

Featuring naked watched movements in a style typically associated with Richard Mille watches, the special edition Big Bang consists of 330 components that make 28,800 movements every hour.

The brainchild of Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, and Edwin Fenech, President and CEO of Ferrari Greater China, the watch also uses “18k”, a special metal developed exclusively by Hublot.

All 50 units of the watch will be reserved for collectors and connoisseurs from Greater China.
