Hublot Boutique Opens In New York

By S. Liu

Luxury watch maker Hublot has opened a new boutique on New York’s Madison Avenue – bringing its number of US stores to three.

Designed by renowned New York architect Peter Marino, the Manhattan store includes a mezzanine area with a private salon lounge. The boutique is modelled on the Swiss company’s Parisian store which opened just a few weeks ago,

Located on the premises of a 19th century house, it also contains a giant screen that broadcasts Hublot events worldwide.

Within the store there is also a large Raptor table complete with special glass to embellish the watch showcases, and spatial motors enabling visitors to view watches from different angles.

Last week Hublot held a 25th anniversary gala for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research at Cipriani Wall Street, an event that kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The gala honoured former American President Bill Clinton, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and amfAR Founding International Chairman Dame Elizabeth Taylor for their efforts in the global fight against HIV/AIDS.

Already boasting stores in Miami and Florida, Hublot plans to open further boutiques in Beverly Hills, California and Las Vegas.
