Hublot Create Zebra-Themed Timepiece
Swiss watch brand Hublot have created a new limited edition zebra-themed addition to its Big Bang Series of timepieces.
The launch of the Zebra Bang timepiece follows on from the popularity of Hublot’s Leopard Bang’ and ‘Boa Bang’ Watches, and comes at a time when zebra prints are de rigour on fashion catwalks around the world.
Limited to just 750 units (250 in black ceramic, 250 in white ceramic and 250 in 18-karat red gold) the 41 mm watch features a bezel set with 48 topazes and baguette-cut spinels, and a zebra-print dial which is showcased by eight small bezel-set diamonds to capture the light.
Other notable features include an automatic mechanical chronograph movemen, a strap made from zebra-print calfskin leather sewn onto black rubber, water resistance up to 100 metres, and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
The Zebra Bang timepiece will debut at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, Switzerland in January 2013.
