Hublot Mark 10th Anniversary of the Big Bang with Ferrari-Themed Watches
This year Hublot celebrates the 10th anniversary of its popular Big Bang timepiece and to mark the occasion the Swiss watch brand has created two special edition models developed with Italian carmakers Ferrari.
Constructed on a 45 mm diameter chassis, the limited edition Big Bang Ferrari Black Ceramic and Ferrari Grey Ceramic feature several nods to the iconic Italian marque, including a UNICO manufacture movement dominated by a blackened criss-cross mesh designed to imitate the distinctive Ferrari grille.
The watches’ dials feature an appliqué of the famous Ferrari prancing horse at 9 o’clock, while the minute counter and date windows appear at 3 o’clock in the colours of the Ferrari shield.
Furthermore, recalling the distinctive codes of Ferrari’s five-spoke wheels, the watches’ oscillating weights are visible beneath the transparent sapphire case-backs.
Other notable features include a leather strap complete with red or grey livery in the style of classic racing cars, an innovative ‘one click’ attachment system inspired by car seat belts, and a 72-hour power reserve.
Both watches are available in a limited run of 250 pieces each.
