Hublot x Ferrari Watch Made From Race Car Carbon Fibre

The relationship between Swiss watch brand Hublot and Italian car marquee Ferrari dates back more than six years, and during that time it has spawned several special timepieces.

The latest special edition to emerge out of the partnership honours the Scuderia Corsa Ferrari GT racing team by celebrating its 100th victory.

Called the Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Scuderia Corsa, the new timepiece was unveiled recently at an VIP dinner in Los Angeles in the presence of Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe and Founder of Scuderia Corsa and Mattioli Auto Group Giacomo Mattioli.

The limited edition is built out of high-tech materials, with the 45mm case created from Hublot carbon fused with carbon fibre from the Scuderia Corsa team’s Ferrari 488 GT3 race car.

The bezel is made from carbon disc brakes from the team’s GT race car, blended with black ceramic.

Furthermore, the watch is powered by a 330-part UNICO self-winding column-wheel chronograph movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, and offering a power reserve of 72 hours.

The Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Scuderia Corsa comes paired with a red calf with black rubber strap that features black stitching, and is limited to only 25 examples.
