I Just Called To Say I Love Vertu

Men across the world who forgot to buy their loved one a Valentine’s Day gift may want to consider a pink-themed peace offering by luxury mobile phone maker Vertu.

The UK-based company has launched a new smart phone encased in elegant pink leather and ceramic, lending a distinctly feminine touch to the model known as the Constellation Quest.

The phone is designed to appeal to the techno-savvy modern woman, and with just a month to go before the annual celebration of love and romance, it is expected to see a surge in sales over the coming weeks.

For Vertu it represents another example of its penchant for pushing the boundaries of phone design. And with the new handset following the Vertu tradition of exquisite detailing and crystal sapphire keys, the phone-maker has succeeded again in bridging the gap between functionality and style.

Perry Oosting, President of Vertu said, “Vertu has applied its values of an authentic, tailored, luxury experience to our first smartphone, creating a handset that is as functional as it is beautiful.

“The launch of another new form factor reflects our ongoing engagement with our customers to deliver the products they desire.”

Beyond the lavish adornments, the Constellation Quest is billed as offering the ultimate in technical specification.

Designed to be effortless and intuitive, the handset includes enhanced exclusive services such as Vertu Concierge (accessed via a dedicated key on the phone to connect you with a lifestyle manager), Vertu Remote Assist (technical assistance available 24 hours a day where a technician can remotely access your Constellation Quest to resolve any issues), Vertu Select (news feed tailored to the Vertu user), and Vertu City Brief (a digest of essential information upon arrival at a new destination).

The pink Constellation Quest retails for $7,900 and is available at Vertu boutiques.
