International Fashion Festival Returns to Porto Montenegro

By Paul Joseph

After its successful debut last year, the second edition of the International Fashion Week returns to the idyllic environs of Porto Montenegro, one of the Europe’s most luxurious superyacht destinations, later this month.

The three-day event will once again take place at the Synchro event space and will see some of the world’s most prestigious designers and industry-leading fashion brands descend on the superyacht marina village and fashion capital of the Adriatic coast.

Opening the spectacle will be the Vertigo Exhibition by Sylvia Giardina, one of fashion’s most recognised personalities.  His 2019 spring-summer high-fashion collection was promoted at the Vertigo project for Alta Roma Alta Moda 2019 and guests will have the chance to enjoy his work at an exclusive, invitation-only exhibition the day before the festival opening.

Kicking off the main event will be a fashion show by acclaimed Lebanese-American designer, Rami Kadi. After a world premiere at Paris Fashion Week, Kadi will present his collection at Porto Montenegro. Closing the festival will be Michael Cinco, one of high-fashion’s most famous designers, who will presents his latest collection in Montenegro.

Following the event, there will be a series of exclusive afterparties hosting fashion lovers, VIP guests, international press and the festival’s key players. On the Friday evening, a party at the impressive Porto Montenegro Yacht Club pool venue will be open to all, while the second evening will see an exclusive invitation-only party for Porto Montenegro homeowners and other VIP guests.

Regent Porto Montenegro, the five-star luxury hotel at the heart of Porto Montenegro’s super yacht marina, will once again be the main sponsor for this year’s festival.

The International Fashion Festival will take place from 18-20 July.
