Introducing the Copper Mug with Remote Temperature Control

By Paul Joseph

Slowly but surely everyday household items are becoming digitised as the smart home revolution continues apace, and the latest object to follow this trend is the humble kitchen mug.

The brainchild of tech company Ember, the limited-edition copper mug is made from high-quality stainless steel with ceramic coating.

The mug allows you to set your precise drinking temperature and maintain it for approximately one hour via a connected Ember app that even notifies you when it reaches your chosen heat.

Offering a remotely adjustable temperature between 120°F and 145°F, the Ember mug is designed for use at home or working from your desk.

The mug also allows you to change its LED colour as per your liking through the Ember app, which is available for IOS and Android users.

Another feature is a built-in intuitive mode that enters the mug into sleep mode when empty and wakes up automatically when it senses movement or liquid.

The Ember limited-edition copper mug is currently available online for $187.
