Introducing the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet Roadster

By Paul Joseph

Iconic British carmaker Rolls-Royce have lifted the curtain on a limited-edition open-top speedster that’s inspired by the roaring ‘20s.

Called the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet Roadster, the two-seater convertible speedster draws inspiration from “the fabled roadsters of the 1920s”, and is based on the Rolls-Royce Dawn, making it the first model from the automaker’s line-up to get the brand’s Collection Car treatment.

As of now, the British marque has only released teaser images that are essentially design renderings of what the real car will look like.

These sketches hint at a truly modern speedster with plenty of retro touches, with a highlight being  its Aero Cowling, which according to Rolls-Royce gives the car a high-shouldered silhouette, heightening the sense of speed and purpose.

The tan interior complements the silver exterior of the limited-edition, while the cabin features a blend of old and new, including a carbon-fibre fascia and a quilted transmission tunnel.

Only 50 examples of the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet Collection will be made, but no announcement on pricing has been made.

Rolls-Royce has also said that it will curate a series of “Silver Bullet Drives” with suggested road-trips for owners to embark on in their new car.
