IWC Launches New Big Pilots Heritage Watches
World renowned Swiss watchmakers IWC have added two new creations to their iconic Big Pilots line of luxury timepieces.
Called the Big Pilot’s Heritage Watch 55 and 48, the two models are unmistakeably inspired by the original observer’s watch, which launched in 1940.
Available in a limited edition of just 100 pieces, the Big Pilot’s Heritage Watch 55 features a case diameter of 55 millimetres, while the version with a case diameter of 48 millimetres is limited to 1,000 pieces.
From their distinctive dial design and colour of the luminescent numerals to the shape of the propeller-like hands, cone-shaped crown and historic leather straps, both watches give striking nods to the original model as well as including the best of contemporary IWC technology.
Founded in 1868, IWC have grown to become one of the world’s most famous luxury watch brands.
