Jaeger-LeCoultre Launch Diamond-Studded Watch

By Paul Joseph

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Rendez-Vous collection has been one of the most popular line-ups for the historic Swiss brand, with over 40 different variants launched since the original was unveiled some seven years ago.

Now the watchmaker has added another lavish new timepiece to the collection – a fully gem-set interpretation of Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon in pink gold.

Set to debut at the 76th Venice International Film Festival with Mamma Mia star Amanda Seyfried as the face of its campaign, the new watch follows on from the recent introduction of the Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day and white gold Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon, both of which were launched at the prestigious SIHH watch fair in Geneva back in January.

The bezel of the Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon is decorated with 108 diamonds, forming two concentric rings around the watch case.

The fully-set bracelet features a total of 310 diamonds wrapping its entire length, while the moonlight-white mother-of-pearl dial also uses diamonds as hour markers on the other hour ring which encloses applied pink gold numerals by another inner circle of 47 diamonds.

The watch is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 925A/1, a self-winding mechanical movement developed and produced in-house and providing a power reserve of 38 hours.

The new Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon is available on special order and is priced at €230,000.
