Jaeger LeCoultre Unveil New Addition to ‘Master Compressor’ Collection

By Paul Joseph

Swiss watchmakers Jaeger LeCoultre have created the latest in their line of Master Compressor timepieces, renowned for their use of scientific, cutting-edge materials.

The Master Compressor Extreme LAB 2 features a crown-integrated function selector that handles a patented digital counter to indicate the chronograph jumping seconds, a manual stop seconds device, a radial power-reserve indication and a GMT function enabling at-a-glance readings.

The watch’s movement is housed in a sturdy case made of a light and resistant TiVan15 titanium alloy and is fitted with a high-tech ultra scratch-resistant ceramic bezel.

Pushpieces specially designed to ensure optimal user friendless provide a broad surface coated with rubber grooves and serve as a crown guard, while a fast strap-change system is incorporated into the caseback and the new double pin buckle provides length adjustment ensuring a perfect fit on the wrist.

Activated by means of a crown-integrated pushpiece, the function selector serves to adjust all functions without involving the inevitably delicate operation of pulling out the crown.

Other notable features include a double alligator strap and a secure double pin buckle.

Founded in 1937, Jaeger-LeCoultre has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned makers of luxury watches.
