Jaeger-LeCoultre Unveil White Gold 101 Feuille Watch

By Paul Joseph

Swiss luxury watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a white gold version of its iconic 101 Feuille jewellery-watch for women.

Last year the watchmaker introduced a rose gold version which was made available for the 2018 Venice Film Festival – and now the brand has recreated the timepiece in white gold for 2019.

The feminine watch retains its timeless bracelet design and is encrusted with a total of 171 diamonds (10.13 carats) of different diameters, set individually by hand to completely cover the timepiece.

A tiny dial is hidden behind a lid shaped like a leaf, which is completely covered with diamonds and can be raised or lowered with one simple movement, giving its wearer the ability to reveal its silvered opaline dial with discretion.

Such a tiny watch is usually powered by a quartz movement, but this watch houses a mechanical movement that was developed 90 years ago. The watch is powered by the renowned Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 101 which was developed by the Manufacture in 1929 and remains the smallest mechanical movement in the world to this day.

Official retail pricing for Jaeger-LeCoultre’s white gold 101 Feuille timepiece is yet to be confirmed.

Founded in 1937, Jaeger-LeCoultre has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned makers of luxury watches.
