Jaguar Restoration Projects to go Under the Hammer at UK Auctions

Held in association with the UK’s Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club, the sale will feaure E-types, XK150s and XK120s in varying conditions, all boasting an impressive heritage

The 1966 Series 1 FHC 2+2 E-type has had just one owner from 1967 and has spent the remaining 38 years in a garage prior to coming out for auction. It is estimated to fetch between £30,000 and £35,000.

A matching numbers 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Roadster has also surfaced after returning from Hong Kong where it was delivered. The right-hand drive car is estimated at £50,000 to £70,000.

Other noteworthy cars to appear in the sale will be one of the very few Jaguar XK150 ‘S’ models available, this being one of 86 coupes in right-hand drive with a manual gearbox, overdrive and a 3.8 litre engine and estimated at £45,000 to £55,000.

Arwel Richards, Auction Manager for the sale, said: "Jaguars are always a popular choice of car and in our British Marques sale we have quite a choice including these restoration projects.

“The XK120 is of significant interest, bearing in mind in could be one of the last unrestored examples."

The Heythrop and British Marques sale is a one day sale with viewing of the lots on 10 May and on the morning of 11 May.

The auction will take place on 11 May, starting with the Automobilia, followed by the Heythrop Classic Car sale and finally the British Marques.
