Zurich based private jet company Jet Aviation kicked off its 50th anniversary year in style late last month with its highly anticipated annual event, La Bella Macchina.

Held in Jet Aviation’s prestigious FBO at Palm Beach International Airport, the event featured an invitation-only private cocktail reception, an eye-catching assortment of new and vintage Ferraris, and two exclusive auctions.

The auctions included one silent sale, as well as a live sale that offered bidders the chance to snap up a range of incredible ‘money-can’t-buy’ experiences.

The event also served as the curtain raiser for the 26th annual Cavallino Classic, one of the world’s foremost Ferrari exhibitions.

In total, nearly 800 people were in attendance, alongside 8 planes, 2 helicopters, one yacht, a submersible and more than 40 Ferraris.

Some of the most recognizable names in aviation from around the globe showcased an array of business-aircraft models on the tarmac, including the Gulfstream G550, Dassault Falcon 8X, Embraer Legacy 500 and Phenom 300, Pilatus PC-12 NG, Piaggio P.180, Airbus Helicopters H125 and a Bell 429.

The event also had a philanthropic focus, with the two auctions raising a combined total of over $20,000 for the Center for Creative Education (CCE) of Palm Beach County.
