Speaking in the Summer issue of Bonhams Magazine, Dame Joan Collins commented: “I do buy jewellery for myself as a reward. It’s something I highly recommend. I think more women should do it…I do hope my jewels in the sale will inspire women. Now we are edging into a more normal life, aren’t we all are looking forward to putting on a fabulous frock, piling on jewellery and plunging into the fray?”

Carole Gordon, Head of Jewellery, Knightsbridge, said: “Dame Joan Collins is known for her Hollywood glamour, as well as her enthralling stories. In her jewellery we find both – with each piece representing a memory as well as expressing her exquisite taste. It is always wonderful to be able to offer such superb pieces from such a legendary star.”
