Hollywood star Johnny Depp has placed his opulent estate in France on the market for $26 million, according to reports.

A former village comprising more than 12 separate buildings, the 37-acre estate was purchased by the famous actor in 2001 before spending around $10 million on restoration work.

Located near the village of Plan-de-la-Tour in the South of France, the focal point of the estate is a village square, featuring a church that Depp converted into a guest house.

The main house is spread over around 4,300 square feet and boasts five bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms an art studio and a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed wine cave. There are also several cottages that are used for guests, as well as a covered wagon outfitted with a bathroom and kitchen.

There are two swimming pools, as well as a gym and a skate park with a halfpipe, while
other notable amenities dotted throughout the estate include a restaurant, a laundry building and a garage.

The estate is listed with Sotheby’s International Realty.
