Wine has a long history in China, with its consumption growing dramatically since the economic reforms of the 1980s. Indeed, such has been the increase that China is now numbered among the top ten global markets for wine.

As a result, a vast number of wine makers from around the world have made great efforts to enter the Chinese market. One such company is a Croatian wine importer and exporter called Bodren.

We sat down with Mr Jusip Glusac, Bodren's Sales Director, at the China  Rendezvous to discuss the company and the services they provide, their ambitions for the show, and the main challenges involved in entering new markets like China.

She also shared her thoughts on ow the wine industry has evolved in recent years, and Bodren’s plans for the rest of 2014.
